Beelink is offering their new mini PCs with Gemini Lake processor, we have the Beelink S2 model that has fanless cooling, it is a new version of the classic Beelink S1 and it has also presented mini PC Beelink GMini1 in larger format that includes includes an internal fan to improve the thermals. In these models, interesting novelties are incorporated such as HDMI 2.0 dual video output that allows 4K video up to 60fps, we hope to do our usual review when it is available and share with you the experiences of use.
Processor, RAM and storage
In terms of specifications the Beelink S2 with an Intel Celeron N4100 processor with four x86 cores capable of reaching 2.40 Ghz in turbo mode, includes an Intel UHD Graphics 600 with 12EU GPU and has a maximum speed of 700mhz, consumption is 6 W TPD and is a model with fanless cooling.
We will find this mini PC in two versions include 4 or 8 GB of DDR4 Dual Channel RAM and include integrated storage of 32 or 64 GB of eMMc 5.0 storage memory. We have an internal M.2 slot and a 2.5″ disk bay with SATA 3 connection. By means of these units it is possible to expand the storage or change the OS to a faster unit.
Connectivity and other features
In terms of connectivity, we have a Wifi aC adapter that also integrates Bluetooth 4.0. As for ports we are on the front with two USB 3.0 Type-A and another Type-C, microphone compatible with the Windows assistant Cortana, status LED, power button and microSD card reader. On the back we have a reset for BIOS, Kensington lock, DC port, two HDMI 2.0 video outputs or HDMI 2.0 and VGA output, Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 connectors and audio jack with support for headphones with microphone. The operating system installed by default will be Windows 10 Home as usual and has screws for a VESA mount.

On the other hand the model Beelink GMini1 mounts an Intel Celeron J4105 Quad Core processor up to 2.5 GHz, consumption of 10 W TPD and a somewhat higher power, in this model if we have active fan to keep temperatures at bay. At the level of characteristics it is identical to the S2 model but we do not have a USB Type-C port, it does not seem to have an M.2 slot and does not have a VESA support option. This is a model that is still under development and may undergo design changes.
